V, W, X, Y & Z Transformer Breathers

Designed to protect against moisture for large capacity tanks, these V, W, X, Y & Z Transformer Breathers are more robustly constructed due to the many desiccants required. These breathers can be mounted by a flange or pipe thread connection. They are equipped with two-way pressure valves in their base plate, allowing air to only enter when there is negative differential air pressure. With a removable desiccant container made from mild steel, the V, W, X, Y & Z Transformer Breathers are protected with a phosphate and powder coat finish.

A shatter-proof and UV-stabilised polycarbonate window provides clear visibility of the Silica Gel, which will visually alert handlers of the need for replacement. The Transformer Breather is clamped between the top and bottom endplates by four metal tie rot with threaded nuts. The Envirogel (Orange-Indicating Silica Gel) can be replaced conveniently by releasing the threaded nuts.
