Two-Way Relief Valve

Two-Way Relief Valves release both pressure and vacuum during transit and storage. With separate and distinct settings for both pressure and vacuum relief, two-way relief valves can be used for both: transit and storage containers and electronic and electro-optics equipment. Tamper-proof, these valves have standard settings ranging from 0.5 psid to 3 psid reseal pressure. Some of the valves allow a desiccant cartridge to be fitted, adsorbing moisture before entering a piece of equipment or container. These relief valves do not require any field maintenance. Most of the models have a manual release push button to equalise pressure or vacuum differentials to open the container or equipment.

Panel Mounting Double Differential Relief Valve

This low-cost, Two-Way Pressure and Vacuum Relief Valve is ideal for transit cases and similar applications up to 4 cubic feet in volume. It has a flow rate of 0.5 scfm at a pressure of 1.5 psi to 2.0 psi above the value set with separate and distinct settings for both pressure and vacuum relief. The standard settings range from 0.5 psid to 2.0 psid reseal pressure.

No need for field maintenance, corrosion-resistant materials are used throughout this tamper-proof breather valve. Its valve seal is made of silicone rubber. Each valve is supplied with a nut and o-ring for minor cases that require a low profile valve. The manual release push button is capable of equalising pressure or vacuum differentials to open the container.

0.75 x 16 UNF Double Differential Relief Valve (With Weather Shield)

It features a weather shield. This valve is designed for a low-cost, Two-Way Valve to be used on transit cases and similar applications up to 4 cubic feet in volume. No need for field maintenance, corrosion-resistant materials are used throughout. Its valve seal is made of silicone rubber, and each valve is supplied with a nut and o-ring to cater to small case applications that require a low profile valve.

The valve consists of separate and distinct settings for both pressure and vacuum relief. This breather valve features a conversion coated housing to allow a conductive o-ring for minimal RFI shielding. For higher energy RFI Shielding, please contact us for more information.

1.00-20 UNEF Thread Double Differential Relief Valve

Ideal for transit cases or other similar applications up to 33 cubic feet in volume. This breather valve is designed to be low cost, but with a higher flow valve of 4.0 scfm than Panel Mounting Double Differential Relief Valve. The valve is lightweight, rugged, tamper-proof and requires no maintenance with corrosion-resistant materials used throughout and a silicone rubber seal. Like all Breather Valves, a recessed manual release push-button is used to equalise residual pressure or vacuum differentials to open the container. The valve is also available in settings from 0.5 psi to 5.0 psi.

3/4 “ Thread Double Differential Relief Valve

Consisting of separate and distinct settings for both pressure and vacuum relief and with a flow rate that ranges from 1.5 to 4.0scfm at 1.5 psi above the valve reseal setting, this Breather Valve is suitable for containers and similar applications up to 33 cubic feet in volume. Standard settings are available from 0.25 psid to 3.0 psid reseal pressure – the lower the setting, the higher the flow rate. It is made with corrosion-resistant material throughout and silicone rubber for the valve seal. The spherical valve seat is Teflon coated for easy “break-away” action even after prolonged storage. This Breather Valve is tamper-proof and requires no field maintenance.

It also comes with a manual release push button, which is used to equalise the pressure or vacuum differentials to make opening the container easier. The button is recessed in the cover to protect it from damages and eliminate the possibility that an adjacent container might press the button and inadvertently cause the valve to remain open. One unique feature about the button is that it has a light-duty spring under the cover, separating the button from the vacuum stem, which must overcome before the button opens the valve.

The valves are also available in two types: “Cracking” and “Reseal”. Cracking Valves are rated by cracking pressure and the flow rate at 1.5 psi above the cracking pressure, while Reseal Valves are rated by resealing pressure and the flow rate at 1.5 psi above the reseal pressure. Gasket, washer and hex nut are provided with each valve. The weldable nut is available for use as a threaded boss, or the valve may be used with our mounting Flanges. RFI/ EMI shielding is also available.

*Cracking Pressure: Pressure at which the valve has opened enough to flow one cubic centimetre per minute. Reseal Pressure: Pressure at which the valve is guaranteed to close after it has cracked open.

2.00-18 UNS Thread Double Differential Relief Valve

Consisting of a separate and distinct setting for both pressure and vacuum relief, Thread Double Differential Relief Valve has a flow rate of 10.0 to 25.0 scfm at 1.5 psi above the valve setting standard settings range from 0.5 psid to 5.0 psid reseal pressure. This makes it suitable for large containers and similar applications up to 208 cubic feet in volume.

It also comes with a manual release push button, which is used to equalise the pressure or vacuum differentials to make opening the container easier. The button is recessed in the cover to protect it from damages and eliminate the possibility that an adjacent container might press the button and inadvertently cause the valve to remain open. One unique feature about the button is that it has a light-duty spring under the cover, separating the button from the vacuum stem.

M14 Thread Double Differential Relief Valve (With weather shield)

Made from Anodised Aluminium, M14 Thread Double Differential Relief Valve protects enclosures from internal and external pressure imbalance. The weather shield provides additional protection and can be supplied with R.F. Screening Continuity whenever required. Stream Peak offers this valve in a wide range of pressure settings. 

M30 Thread Pressure Relief Valve (Polycarbonate)

This relief valve is designed to protect enclosures from the imbalance of internal and external pressure. It is made from a polycarbonate and stainless steel mixture requiring a 30.5mm diameter hole and a manual override button for safe equipment opening. With a wide range of pressure settings available, Stream Peak aims to fulfill various needs accordingly. 

Unthreaded FDA Approved Two Way Relief Valve

FDA Approved, this Two-Way Relief Valve can be used in medical and food devices, such as releasing the steam build up in cookers or equalise pressure in medical storage containers.

M25 Thread Stainless Steel Relief Valve

A Two-Way Pressure Relief Valve can also be used together with a desiccator to help an M20 Internal thread on the rear. This valve has a key slot on the front and a Diamond Kurl cut body to help fit.
