VCI Outdoor Liquid Solutions

VCI Outdoor Liquid Solutions are a complete line of rust-prevention liquids that protect exposed metals and unpainted metal parts from corrosion during manufacture, use, storage, export, lay-up, and preservation. Using conventional industrial application equipment, the Nox-Rust liquids can be applied by brushing, fogging, or spraying them into hard-to-reach areas.

Nox-Rust 3100

The Nox-Rust 3100 can be handled after 3-6 hours and set up within 12-24 hours. When required, it can be removed using solvent-based thinners, vapour degreasing or hot alkaline wash.

Nox-Rust 5100

Designed for outdoor corrosion protection, the Nox-Rust 5100 is ideal for general metal preservation, indoor or outdoor. It can be used with or without barrier covers during transit or storage. Use the Nox-Rust 5100, apply it by dip, spray or brush, and handle it after 3-6 hours and set up in 12-24 hours. To remove the coating, use solvent/alkaline cleaner.

  • Protection Time: 1-3 years unprotected outdoor storage; 3-5 years protected outdoor storage
  • Appearance: Dries as a black, dry, firm film
  • Metal Protection: Steel, compatible with non-ferrous metals

Nox-Rust 5200

The Nox-Rust 5200 protects exposed and unpainted metal parts from rusting and corrosion. When applied, the brown, grease-like film dries as a semi-firm coating in 12-24 hours, providing protection that lasts for 3-6 months on equipment stored outdoors and up to 5 years when kept indoors. The Nox-Rust 5200 is ideally used for machinery, instruments, bearing and steel parts. To remove the coating, use a solvent/alkaline or emulsion cleaner. It is available in pails, drums, and aerosol cans.

Nox-Rust 5300

The Nox-Rust 5300 displaces water and saline solutions to keep metal surfaces inside closed systems free from corrosion. Completely miscible with lubricating oils. Apply the fluid by dipping, spraying or brushing. After application, it dries as an oily film that can be handled after 3-6 hours.
