Packing Peanuts

Void Fillers Cushion Goods, Preventing Fragile Items from being Damaged

Packing Peanuts is a loose fill packaging and cushioning material that prevents impact during transit

Polychip Foams are void fillers used for protecting goods from damage. Also referred to as “peanuts”, Polychip Foams (Peanuts), commonly known as Packing Peanuts, is a loose packaging filler that cushions packaged items and prevents the effects of impact during transportation. Traditional Polychip Foam is made of polystyrene, which is a plastic polymer. It is also called styrofoam which is not eco-friendly and biodegradable. The advanced Polychip Foam (Peanuts) comprises biodegradable and non-toxic materials like corn starch or wheat. These foam types are easily dissolvable in water and do not have an electrostatic charge, so they do not stick to the clothes. The selection of the Polychip Foam (Peanuts) type depends on the packaging goods that are more fragile and require void-filling packaging for extra protection.
