Reliable Carton Sealing
Water-activated gummed tapes are adhesive tapes made from natural resources like paper or potato starch. These tapes become sticky when wet, thanks to their natural adhesive properties. This adhesive also provides exceptional durability, ensuring secure seals for cartons.
Gummed tape dispensers are an ideal replacement for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. They can handle a variety of carton sizes and are well-suited for medium-to-high-volume packaging requirements.
Reinforced and Non-Reinforced Options
The water-activated reinforced or non-reinforced kraft paper tape is used for two strip sealing cartons on top and bottom and works well on recycled and non-utilised loads. It is recommended for lightweight to average cartons up to 24 pounds (11kg).
It is recommended to store the paper tapes in a clean and dry place with no volatile solvent to prevent damaged packaging. The storage temperature should be 4° to 26°C, and the humidity level should be 40% and 50%. Inventory rotation is also recommended.
