Humidity indicators for electronic or electro-optic equipment and other humidity-controlled enclosures where moisture sensitivity is a concern. These indicators detect alterations in the humidity levels of the monitored space by utilising a colour-changing sensor paper.
As humidity levels rise, the paper turns from blue to pink, and when the humidity levels drop, it changes back to blue. The humidity indicators are compatible with a static desiccator filled with silica gel or molecular sieve desiccants, which can absorb any moisture that may infiltrate the equipment during operation.
R.H. Indicator PlugThis humidity indicator plug has a ¾” U.N. thread and a 50% R.H. level. It is designed as a single-level indicator and incorporates a spanner flat, making it easy to fit into equipment. Additionally, it can be used together with a static desiccator.
Humidity Indicator Plug (BLD1519)
The BLD1519 (IHP3M) is a split-level humidity indicator plug with an M20 thread. It can detect humidity levels between 30% and 50% R.H. This plug can be combined with a static indicator such as BLD1397 for optimal performance.
Humidity Indicator Plug (BLD1475)
This single-level humidity indicator plug is designed with a ¾” UNS thread and 50% R.H., making it easy to fit into equipment with its incorporated spanner flats. In addition, it can be used with a static desiccator to maintain a dry environment.
