Container awnings, also referred to as a cargo safety sheet, provide optimal security for cargo while ensuring the safety of individuals while opening container doors.

Reliable Cargo Protection

The primary purpose of a container awning is to prevent any potential accidents or injuries that may occur due to falling goods. Securely fastening the awning to the container is a protective barrier that keeps the cargo within the container, even when the doors are being opened.

This safety measure is particularly crucial when containers may hold heavy or fragile items that could pose a risk to individuals nearby if they fall out unexpectedly. The container awning effectively mitigates such risks, providing peace of mind to cargo owners and anyone involved in the container handling process.

Safeguarding Individuals and Cargo

Container awnings are constructed using durable materials that ensure long-lasting performance. They are designed to withstand the rigours of transportation, including harsh weather conditions and potential impact during loading and unloading processes. This durability ensures the protection of the cargo and minimises the possibility of damage.

  • Designed explicitly for lighter goods and loose cartons, the safety net sets itself apart from regular container safety nets by eliminating holes and gaps. This unique feature ensures comprehensive protection and secure shipment of small and loose items.
  • With a simple and efficient installation process, the safety net consists of four 25mm strapping belts measuring 3.5 meters each, equipped with an attached hook on one end. Additionally, it includes a 2.3m x 2.3m PP Woven Sheet with four secure clamp locks positioned at each corner. This user-friendly design allows for easy and fast installation and utilisation, eliminating the need for additional attachments.
  • The safety net ensures firmness and exceptional durability. The belts are made from our G85 strapping material, boasting a linear strength of 1000 daN, ensuring a secure hold for the first rows of cartons within the container. Our container awning safety sheet also offers enhanced robustness with an additional final cross-lashing.
  • The versatility of our safety net makes it suitable for a wide range of industries, including logistics, engineering and machinery, power and refinery, and more. Its adaptability allows it to serve multiple purposes across various sectors, meeting the unique needs of different businesses and applications.
