The ultra-high flow valves allow higher gas pass-through increases than similarly-sized valves, and there will be a proportional decline in backpressure upon opening. Built for overpressure and vacuum relief, the valves are available in 3 standard sizes of 1”, 3” and 8” (25mm, 76mm, and 200mm). The valves can be used for applications such as overpressure in pipelines, pressure vessels, storage vessels, equipment containers and safety relief applications.
The automatic valve reacts within 0.2 seconds and resets after opening, even after achieving the limit of flow performance and is available from a range of pressure settings from 0.5 to 5.0 psi for pressure and vacuum relief. The valves can function in adverse environments, including corrosive chemicals, driving rain, and low & high temperatures. Additional options include mechanical and physical protection, a debris filter, EMC screening, and a manual relief override.
