VCI aluminium foil has been treated or coated with volatile corrosion inhibitor chemicals to provide additional corrosion protection for sensitive or valuable metal products. The VCI chemicals help prevent moisture and other corrosive elements from reaching the metal surface, thus reducing the risk of corrosion.

Effective Against Corrosive Damage

The rust prevention aluminium foil is a flexible & heavy-duty, heat-sealable foil barrier material. It protects against corrosive damage caused by humidity, moisture, oxygen, salt spray, aromas, grease, and other airborne contaminants. It can prevent corrosion on items during long-term storage or shipment.

The corrosion inhibitor foil is made with Mil-PRF-131J QPL lamination composed of biaxially oriented nylon, aluminium foil, and a heavy polyethene sealant layer. The metal-guard film features a VCI formulation incorporated into the PE sealant, creating an air and moisture-proof combination that protects packaged metals against corrosion.

VCI Aluminum Foil (Standard)

This VCI metal barrier foil is essentially a two-in-one barrier foil that removes the need for wrapping metal parts with VCI Packaging film and another layer of laminated barrier foil. The aluminium foil improves the packaging efficiency of metal parts, reducing labour needs and costs. Typical applications include wrapping or crating large machinery for export or wrapping smaller pieces for long-term storage.

VCI Aluminum Foil (Light)

This VCI metal barrier foil is a light-duty, nylon/aluminium foil/polyethene structure with a unique ferrous metal corrosion inhibitor in the PE film layer. Excellent sealing characteristics make it ideal for hand-sealing in the field. Typical applications include wrapping large machinery or metal components for export when crating is unused.
